The FDA and CDC just updated its COVID-19 vaccine schedule. Now, to be considered up-to-date, everyone should have at least one bivalent vaccine.

For those not previously vaccinated, a single dose of the Bivalent MRNA vaccine is recommended for ages 6 years and older. Patients 6 months to 5 years require two doses of the Bivalent MRNA vaccine to complete their primary series.

Certain high-risk populations, including those who are 65 years and older, may now receive a second bivalent booster.

COVID does not pose the same risk to everyone it infects. Keep yourself and your loved ones healthy. Schedule your Pfizer Bivalent vaccine appointment at IEP Urgent Care. We have the Bivalent vaccine available at our Brighton, Bloomfield Hills, Novi, and Southfield locations.

Visit the CDC website for more information on the new recommendations from the FDA and CDC.

Still have questions on these new recommendations? Talk to your IEP provider - they will ensure that you and your family are getting the right care for your specific needs.
